Syleena Johnson: “Bull’s Eye (Suddenly)” feat. Common

Syleena Johnson was one of Kanye’s early muses. Ye referred to the singer as “a seatbelt that saved his life,” when he couldn’t get Lauryn Hill to sing on “All Falls Down,” and secured Syleena instead. They’d go on to work on a number of tracks together around this period, including ‘Bull’s Eye” featuring Common, from Syleena’s third album Chapter 3: The Flesh.
