Reports earlier this year confirmed that Aretha Franklin would be working with Babyface for a majority of her next album due out this year, and it appears more collaborators will be on board. At her 72nd birthday recently, the Respect singer stated she was waiting on Babyface to finish up a Broadway musical project for “After Midnight” with Toni Braxton and then also threw in the conversation she that she is also working one half of the Grammy winning rap duo Outkast Andre 3000.

When asked about her new project she was quoted as saying:

“And I think Andre 2000 – is it two or three? 3000 is going to be doing some of the tracks with him.”
