Zoe Kravitz and rapper A$AP Rocky have all been cast in the new feature film Dope by Rick Famuyiwa (The Wood, Brown Sugar).
The film is described as a coming of age story about geeks growing up in Inglewood, Calif., trying to avoid gangs, drugs and crime. The producers include Sean “Diddy” Combs, Forest Whitaker and Pharrell, who lent some original music to the indie flick. Dope is set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
