Last night Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover shouldered duel duties as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Before the show aired he premiered his new song and visual “This Is America.” It serves as the first single for his yet to be titled new album.

After that stellar premier it was time for Glover to give his opening monologue. During the monologue Glover told the story of how he auditioned twice for SNL and didn’t get cast. To poke fun at how other cast members got their jobs at SNL.

After that Donald got to work and delivered some of the funniest most creative skits of the season. The three stand outs had to be his hilarious Migos spoof “Friendos,” a skit surrounding all the hysteria around Kanye West’s latest antics called “A Kanye Place” a take on the film “A Quiet Place,” and his “80’s Music Video” skit. Watch all the clips below as well as both of his stellar performances.
