The last time we saw them was in 2009 apart of the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared Pack”. And now sneaker heads and hype beast will get a chance to get their hands on them in 2014, marking the 23 year anniversary of the shoe. The “white infrareds” feature a mostly white upper with the iconic “infrared 23″. The Release date is set for February 15th, right around the All-Star game weekend and Valentine’s day for you romantics.
This shoe is also mainly important because it’s the shoe MJ won his first NBA Championship wearing in 1990. Jordan again took home the NBA scoring title and his 2nd of 5 MVP awards. The design for the shoe broke the mold again with rubber tongue , lace locks and clear sole. Tinker Hartfield and the team at Nike kept being innovative and setting the bar for new standards for sneakers in the early 90’s and this shoe definitely didn’t fail .
