As reported by Variety, iconic music label Def Jam has name Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg their new CEO.
Rosenberg is a co-founder of Shady Records, which has released some of raps highest selling albums from artist such as 50 Cent, D12, and Obie Trice. He runs Goliath Artist Management (Eminem, Action Bronson, Danny Brown), and is an attorney. He will still manage Eminem while taking over CEO duties of Def Jam label. Since 2013 the label has been being ran by CEO Steve Bartels, and for now it is unclear what role he will play are Rosenberg take his role as CEO in January.
