With the huge success of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War and his stand alone film Black Panther on the way comic book fans can’t wait for its February 18th release in 2018. The movie is set to be directed and co-written by Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole. As far as the cast, of course Chadwick Boseman will reprise his role as T’Challa The Black Panther, along with Lupita Nyong’o and Michael B. Jordan confirmed to join him. Other cast members have yet to be set in stone as of now. Although many fans are curious to see the route taken for the film’s plot and seem to be overly excited for the possibilities to come with a predominantly African-American cast (have you taken a look at the #BlackPantherSoLit hashtag? GOLD!) many are un-educated on The King of Wakanda’s origins.

With this film being highly important to the MCU developing cultural diversity, we wanted to give everyone the run down of all things Black Panther. Flip the pages below.
