We haven’t heard much TDE OG Jay Rock since his motor cycle accident 2 years ago, but it looks like the Watts native is ready to make his return. In support of Marvel’s forthcoming Black Panther film, Kendrick Lamar and TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith are billed as executive producers for the movie’s accompanying soundtrack. After dropping the single “All the Stars” by King Kenny and SZA, the second song off the project is led by Jay Rock. The track is titled “King’s Dead,” , with Kendrick joining his TDE labelmate Jay Rock, Future and James Blake over the production of Mike WiLL Made-It and Teddy Walton. Available in select international markets, “King’s Dead” will be out on iTunes in North America at midnight when you pre-order the soundtrack. Black Panther: The Album drops on Feb. 9, with the film hitting theaters a week later on Feb. 16.
