While on his press run for his new film O.G. starring Jeffery Wright, Kareem “Biggs” Bruke reveals a Roc-A-Fella Records biopic is officially in the coming soon.

The legendary label’s co-founder told REVOLT that he’s “working on it right now.”

He didn’t give any details of when we can expect it, but he did give an idea of how the story will be told. Biggs suggests that the film will not only focus on Roc-A-Fella’s rise, but on Hov’s, Dame’s and his own struggles throughout their early lives. No word yet on  Jay-Z and Dame Dash’s involvement.

“It’ll probably be separate stories of JAY, Damon and myself. Showing us as kids to understand what we’ve went through — the pain and hardships. The extenuating circumstances such as me living in a shelter, some people don’t really know that. Being evicted, living in a shelter, and staying in people’s houses and floors for two years. JAY losing his father at four years old when his father left him. Dame losing his mom at 14 years old and having to put himself through private school. So, there were a lot of hardships and things we went through that actually gave us strength.”

Biggs is on a roll right now, as you can see he is heavily involved in film, and is now jumping back into music. He recently  launched his new management company Circle of Success, who just signed SAINt Jhn as its first artist. This is the first artist he has worked with since he helped launch Kanye West’s career back in 2004.
