Last night if you were in LA you probably got the chance to see Kendrick Lamar perform a full on mobile concert on the back of a moving truck. The TDE MC alerted fans via Twitter that he’d be riding down Sunset Blvd and Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. The mini concert was in support of Reebok’s #GetPumped campaign. Lamar performed various hits off his Good Kid m.A.A.d City debut, and a few songs from his newly released To Pimp A Butterfly.
His new album just topped Billboard’s top 200 list this week moving an estimated 355,372 copies including streams. This makes Kendrick’s album the third rap release this year to top the charts. Read our review here.
