Music mogul and former chairman & CEO of Epic Records L.A. Reid have reportedly been accused of sexual harassment by a former employee.

The news appeared in the NY Post monday (5/14), a few days after the industry veteran’s sudden departure from Epic Records and Sony Music. The NY Post and Billboard details several instances of inappropriate advances and alleged sexual harassment. The events reportedly transpired mainly at a company holiday party last December and are detailed in a letter from March 22 that was sent from the accuser to Sony Music’s General Counsel. In the letter, she states that Reid asked her “to lie down in bed with him and give him a hug while the two were at a hotel while traveling on business.” As of now these are just allegations, but some say there is truth to these reports especially rapper turned personality Joe Budden. On his Complex news show Every Day Struggle, he said L.A. Reid is a sexual predator, and every industry insider knows it.
