Lil Wayne finally breaks his silence on his legal woes with music label Cash Money records.In an recent interview with Rolling Stone, Wayne states that him and Birdman haven’t spoke, and he really didn’t give much insight into the situation, he did admit it was taking its toll on him. Weezy did talk speak on Tha Carter V and confirmed that the album is indeed done, but is on hold right now while the legal situation plays out. “Cake baked, icing on top, name on top, candles lit. I would have released it yesterday if I could. But it’s a dead subject right now. It’s a jewel in the safe. It’s that stash-house money,” Wayne said. But the good news is we will be hearing new music from Mr. Carter in March on his Free Weezy Album. “I guarantee it’s going to be something dope.
