Since Meek Mill has come home from prison he has been telling his story, spreading positivity and changing his old ways. The rapper did a slew of interviews discussing the United States flawed prison system especially of his hometown of Philadelphia. Aside from talking about those issues many have been curious to know when will he get back in the studio? Meek expressed that he wanted to get some civil work done, spend time with his family and just get back in the swing of his normal life.

On Monday, which marked what would have been Biggie’s 46th birthday, clips of a Meek Mill and Rick Ross remix of the Life After Death cut popped up on social media. In one clip, captured by Drake fan account WordOnRd, Meek shouts out his former rival Drake:

“Is we beefin’ or rappin’?

I might just pop up with Drizzy like what’sā€¦”

THE CLIP CUTS OFF BEFORE WE’RE ABLE TO HEAR MEEK FINISH THE LINE:

In another clip shared to Meek’s Instagram story, we hear Ross celebrating Meek’s freedom.

“Meek home, all the haters gettin’ handled”

Some fans are even speculating that they hear a possible Drake ad lib in the background of the initial clip.

Stating that he isn’t against reconciling with the OVO head huncho “anything is possible,” Meek revealed earlier this month that he’s open to linking with Drake in the studio. “I don’t have hate towards him, and I don’t believe he has hate towards me,” he said during a recent Hot 97 interview. “When I was in that situation, I seen in the media he was like ‘Free Meek Mill’ that’s when I was at my down point when I didn’t have anything going on with music.”

Now, lyrically speaking, Meek said in a separate interview with the Breakfast Club crew that what he’s gone through might have him talking “hurt” and “anger.”

Drake, meanwhile, is readying his new album Scorpion for release in June. With Drizzy dropping a new Meek collab, the best way to own the Summer would be to pull a Jay-Z and Nas burry the hatchet type of reunion, maybe on the Summer Jam stage?
