Top Dawg took to twitter and promised us new music today. Earlier this evening we were treated to a new track from new signee Isaiah Rashad.

The track is coined “RIP Kevin Miller.” Produced by Black Metaphor, the title of the song is Rashad’s way of paying respects to Hip Hop Mogul Master P’s younger brother Kevin Miller, who was robbed, shot, and killed in the mid-90s. Master P mourned his brother’s death on the 1995 record “When They Gone,” and 1997’s “I Miss My Homies”.

It’s becoming more and more obvious Rashad’s influence comes from the southern 90’s golden era of hip hop. With tracks “Brad Jordan” and “Ronnie Drake” already having the hip hop blogs a buzz, the Chattanooga native is proving he can hold his own with his TDE labelmates. Check out his latest below, as well as Master P’s dedication classics.

Isaiah Rashad’s debut LP Cilvia will be out sometime this year. The FKB team will keep you posted.
