The former Sleeprcamp collective member Jay Bel drops his debut solo single titled “Acid Lake.” Jay lets his potent hazy flow glide over the far out beat. Look out for Jay Bel’s forthcoming project Bohemia due next month.

“”Acid Lake” is a song I wrote while going through a period of time where I needed inspiration,” he tells Billboard over e-mail. “The beat made me feel as if I was flying/floating and that’s exactly what I needed at the time, so that’s what I ended up doing on it. The off tempo production made me approach very differently; it was fun to do. I like shit like that, it makes listening to the music fun — the fact that you almost have to catch on.”
