Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint has made a huge impact on Billboard’s album chart this week. Just in time to close off her impressive year, Nicki’s third album lands at number 2 with 244,000 units moved. The album was bested by Taylor Swift’s 1989, which moved another 375,000 copies this week to maintain her number one spot. Meanwhile, D’Angelo faired pretty well, having been absent for the past 15 years. Black Messiah lands at number five, moving 117,000 units. Read our review here.
