A ne artist you need to look out for is Florida-based rapper Marcellus Juvann.

He recently inked a managment deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation after competing on VH1’s Signed TV series. He wowed The-Dream and Lenny S on the show and earned a record deal to The-Dream’s Radio Killa Records.

Marcellus wasted no time and dropped his new EP entitled ‘Carpe Noctem,’ which means “Seize the Night,” to coincide with the announcement. “This EP means a lot to me because it’s a prelude to my triumph,” he says. Working with familiar faces for the five-track project, Marcellus kept the project in-house. “I wanted to keep it that way to celebrate the come up with the people I’ve been working with,” he explains. “My engineer MIXEDBYTRA, my producers. The feature from JaySwifa (of Fly.Union) was organic and made sense since we both are from Ohio.”

He expressed his excitement about crafting the project with The-Dream to Pigeons and Planes. “Carpe Noctem is the first step and we have a lot planned for the future,” he says. “Me and Dream have a lot of things in the works musically and we can’t wait to share that. I can’t wait to work with fellow signees on that Roc Nation label. I wanna work with Cole, definitely! I know we can cook up something crazy. And of course DJ Khaled who Lenny does management for also. So we’ll see what happens. Stay tuned.”
