Controversial Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has been in the news quite a lot lately for good and bad reasons. His track “Gummo” is gaining steam on the Billboard Hot 100, and today he drops the visuals for his latest track “Kooda.”
In the video Tek unites the Bloods and Crips, which is flooded with quick cuts of mobs of people flagged up in red and blue. The new track has a similar vibe to his previous single, “Gummo,” and is high energy.
Tek recently told XXL: “God told me [‘Gummo’] was going to pop,” he said. “I made it in L.A. I sweared to God if I didn’t go in the studio when I did and let out my anger, it wasn’t going to be as fire as it is now. It showed us how much of an impact that song had. Everything in that song was real, everything I said.”
