Tribute To Kurt Cobain: Nirvana And Friends Perform In Brooklyn After Being Inducted Into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Last night, In Brooklyn a secret tribute concert was held for Kurt Cobain after being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The legendary Seattle rock band Nirvana was officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last night and surviving members Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Krist Novoselic were all present. Kurt mom and his widow Hole front woman Courtney Love were also on hand to accept the award along with the band. Though they had their differences over the years, Love and the band members remained civil during the acceptance speech and embraced with a big hug.

In Kurt’s honor, the band put on a secret show with a host of great artists filling in as vocalists. They included: Joan Jett, Kim Gordon, and St. Vincent’s Annie Clark and Lorde. It was a night to remember in celebration of the genius that is Kurt Cobain.
