In my humble opinion, Scarface is one of the greatest rappers of all time — any era, any region, any sub genre, period he’s top five. In 2008 Face announced a low-key retirement after his last album, Emeritus, and other than a few guest appearances here and there, he’s mostly kept his word. But a true wordsmith like Face Mobb couldn’t stay away for long, and he’s announced that he’ll have a new LP called Deeply Rooted coming out sometime soon. Scarface is the rare rapper who has managed to reach middle age while losing barely any of his credibility or rhyme skills. Below is his latest video for “No Problem,” the lead single from the album, and it’s really just a gritty, nasty, no-chorus harangue. Mr. Boomtown directs the video clip in a Houston neighborhood while images of online news headlines flash on the screen. Watch it below.
