At this years Comic-Con in New York, The Weeknd and Marvel unveiled their new joint project ‘Starboy.’
The Canadian singer has been hinting at in recent weeks, posting a preview image of the first cover last week, and was on hand in New York for the main event mingling with fans and signing autographs.

The Weeknd has had the idea in mind for quite some time now, if you remember last November in his Zane Lowe interview, spoke about how he wanted to create a comic of his alter ego. Abel was quoted saying “I guess this is the fourth chapter. He’s a character that we created… he’s a cool, dope character that makes appearances a lot on the album… he’s a more braggadocious character that we all have inside of us.”
Marvel has collaborated with artist in past such as Nas, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliot and most recently Run The Jewels.
The Staryboy comic book will be hitting shelves in 2018. Keep your eyes peeled for more information about the exact release date.
