Adidas Originals has teamed up with another one of fashion’s top designers and it is none other than Mr. Camouflage himself Mark McNairy. He’s recently been busy with his own line, and working with new BFF Pharrell Williams on BBC Black and BEE line. McNairy worked with Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi for the Adidas Originals 84-Lab capsule collection.
The 2012 ” GQ Best New designer in America “ recipient has his fingerprints all over the capsule collection, old school track jackets and pants with details like drawstring hems and TCMFB embroidery, and the Taking Care of MotherF****ing Business band logo. His philosophy when it comes to the lines he’s apart of is to remain unrestricted in using his humor and imagination to create clothing that he personally wants in his closet. The track jackets and T-shirts in the collection have McNairy’s nick name “McNasty” on the back with the number 13. The Collection looks like Mcnairy was trying to make the coolest gym clothes in the history of high school gym class, which is pretty cool and I know for sure I’d wear them. Anything that has Mother F***er and McNasty on it count me in. There are also three sneakers in the collaboration. The Rod Laver, Hook Shot, and Rom get reinterpreted, and in the case of the Hook Shot and Rom, renamed. Dubbed the “McNasty Lo” and “RoMcNasty,” all three color ways go perfectly with the track suits and tee’s from the collection .
The full collection drops on October 19.
