On this Saturday (12/13/14) Adidas hosted the release of their collaboration with Pusha T, the Adidas EQT ’93.

The private event was held in soho at the adidas originals store. DJ Rick Geez spun on the wheels of steel as party goers mingled and chatted through out the evening. The EQT’s were displayed on the walls and on a marble pedestal. Pusha T capped off the night by giving a small performance and giving a heart felt speech about the recent protests for equality and urged everyone to support and unite in these times. It was a very sincere moment as he reflected and wished nothing but the best for the families affected by these recent cases.

The kicks go on sale December 23rd for $200.

I love y’all, thanks for all the support. If I had known that umm… they were doing the marches today I wouldn’t have done this. This particular night, I wouldn’t have done it. But we here you know and I just want to send condolences out to all the families. It’s terrible man. The funny thing about it is we were supposed to start this campaign and the verdict came out so we chose not to start on that day because it just didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel appropriate. And now we’re here today during the march and we couldn’t take it back. I really wouldn’t have done it. No disrespect, I love you guys. Thanks for your support and thanks for coming.
